It is very nice to see that you are a sincerely studying for LEET examination of Jharkhand. It shows your sincerity for seeking admission in Engineering college, after completion of your Diploma. As far as the books are concerned I can advise you that the syllabus for LEET is basically the same as that for Diploma and hence your books will be good enough. However based on the syllabus you can Google for previous years question papers and you will come to know what type of questions are asked and also different publications which are offering books for this examination. As a counsellor of Shiksha, I cannot recommend book of the particular publisher, it is for you to decide which books to refer to. Best wishes to you.

IEM Kolkata is better. IEM holds a strong position among other private colleges in terms of placement. According to a recent study, it has provided 100% placement to its students for the past seven years. N our batch, everyone got placed within 5 days. 80% of the batch had multiple offers. Some of the very famous companies that are known to regularly recruit IEM graduates are: Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Wipro Technologies, PWC, NRI FENTCH, ERRICSION, SANKALAP, Infosys, Capgemini. In top colleges like IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani, etc. , teachers are very knowledgeable. Here also, teachers are also from IIT, NIT and other good colleges. Hostel facilities are good enough, it provides good food, study environment, Wi-Fi 24 hrs facility and a well-disciplined life as well, the students are not permitted to get out of the hostel after 8 pm and they should live a proper life there if they want. Proper security is available. Rooms are very spacious shared by 4 students. Food quality is good and healthy. Food is available as purely veg for vegetarians and purely no-veg for non-vegetarians.
