You can appear for UGC NET. University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET)is conducted in order to select candidates for only Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. Till now, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted NET on behalf of UGC. https://www.shiksha.com/teaching-education/exams/ugc-net.

Yes, you will be able to apply after 2 years for M.Sc. You may be asked to produce an affidavit stating your reason for gap, but that can be easily managed.

If you had arts stream, take up Bachelor of Arts in humanities, social sciences, languages, psychology, media and journalism.
If you had Commerce background, B.Com and then qualifications like ICWA and CA would be excellent.
If you had Science stream, engineering or medical depending on your skills - this is the broad choice. If not, consider doing B.Sc in varied options like physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, genetics, biotechnology, physiotherapy, nursing, computer applications and IT et all. IIT JAM is the best exam to provide admission in top colleges of India. It is conducted once a year. There are also several state conducted entrance exams each year too like DU entrance exam.

It is an autonomous institute. It claims to be recognised by government but presents no proof for the claim. What you can do now is to check with University in Mumbai whether it is acceptable to them or not. If you really want to go deep, file an RTI to the Delhi Education Department and ask for the status of NBSE's recognition. If someone is seeking admission, suggest them NIOS (government recognised). http://nbseindia.in/recognition/

You should go for Chandigarh University to pursue CSE. Chandigarh University is better among these colleges in terms of placements. Faculties really help students.

Hi, just remember that for any higher studies you want to pursue, you need to have a minimum educational qualification to qualify for the exams, not age. Age is not a consideration for Ph.D. All the very best.
