So you must have also started exploring the world of game development. Cool, isn't it? How can game developers make these awesome things? How can they sew a whole new virtual world with the power of programming, AI, graphics and what not? But after quite searching, you must have exhausted and thought, Hi why not join a college for game programming in India? Stop right there. Keep one thing in mind, you don't need college for learning how to create games. As far as I have been into this, it involves the use of logic and a better understanding of programming language (especially C+since it is widely used in everything). Rather go for learning computer science. It is the discipline which is important, not the game programming college. Moreover, you will be able to combine all other areas of computer Science into programming games. Whereas in game programming college, they will only teach you a specific area of programming, which is quite wrong and won't be helpful in long run. First of all, let me tell you a few things that
You should not expect a 4.5 lacs+ package from any RTU AFFILIATED institute. I was allotted JECRC last year through RPET and you would be surprised to know that there are 60k seats for engineering in Rajasthan, out which 55k students filled form for the RPET 33k students appeared for the exam and 11k examinee actually got themselves admitted into the colleges allotted by BTER and out of those 11k ,1050 examinees chose JECRC that is approximately 10%. So you can see a larger portion of engineering aspirants are in JECRC. Now coming to your branch so far I have heard from seniors the college has offered 100% placement for eligible students. Apart from studies you will find a lot of other activities which will help you develop your persona as well. I too am a part of a social group called Zarurat the help beyond (search over facebook) where we every day teach over 150+ kids from slum area near our college and apart from this, there are lots of other activities.

Post Graduate Programme
The candidate should be a graduate from a recognised University in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in total. In addition to academic qualification, age criteria also need to be followed. The upper age limit has been fixed as 27 years as on 1st of July of the year of admission. No age restriction is their, for female candidates and relaxation of 3 years is their for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates. For MBA in Hospital Administration, the candidate should have done MBBS/BDS/B. VSc /B.Sc (Nursing)/ BHA/ BBA (HA)/other medical/paramedical degree of duration equivalent to that of MBBS from a recognised University. Integrated courses/undergraduate course
MCA/ M.Tech
Candidates with pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as mainstream subjects and at least 50% aggregate marks or GCE 'O' level with five subjects and GCE 'A' level with Physics and Mathematics with grade C or better or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics and minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognised Board are eligible. The upper age limit of the candidate for all Integrated/Undergraduate courses has been fixed as 22 years as on July, 1, of the year of admission.
