No, you should not apply if you don't meet the eligibility criteria for IIAD DAT Entrance Exam. 

It is because exam officials will verify the eligibility conditions before seat allotment. If any candidate is found lacking, he or she will be disqualified.

Further, if the candidate is found to be forging their eligibility, they may not only be disqualified, but criminal charges may also be levied against such candidates.

For admission to UG courses, the candidate needs to have passed 10+2 exam in any discipline. Those awaiting 10+2 results may also apply. The candidate must make sure that meet the eligibility criteria, as otherwise the candidature of the applicant can be cancelled.

The admission committee will verify the information given by the candidate at the time of counselling.

The basic eligibility requirement for BBA programmes at IIAD Delhi is pass in Class 12th with a minimum of 50% aggregate. IIAD Delhi students must visit the official webiste & apply for the available undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The basic eligibility requirement for the BDes programme at IIAD Delhi is pass in Class 12th with a minimum of 60% aggregate and the accepted entrance examination is IIAD Entrance Exam. The eligibility criteria may change, hence reach the official website for completed details.

Candidates are selected for IIAD UG and PG programmes on the basis of the following:

  • Performance in the IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) or iMAT (for management programmes)
  • Performance in the Studio Test/Personal Interview
  • Portfolio review (for some programmes)

Furthermore, candidates must secure valid scores in iDAT and iMAT to qualify for the further process. Furthemore, candidates must appear for the personal interview round for the final shortlisting. For final admission, candidates must appear for the document verification and pay the fees to confirm a seat.
