The Indian Institute of Art and Design placement percentage for recent drives has not been disclosed. However, as per the official stats the institute has a placement success rate of 95%.  Students gain exposure to top brands like Louis Vuitton, Lamborghini, Dyson, H&M, Chanel, Versace, FabIndia, EY and NDTV.

The highest and average package offered during the IIAD placements 2025 were INR 12 LPA and INR 7.5 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters included Pero, Levi's, Prapun, NDTV, House of Heirloom, YWalls, Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, etc.

IIAD offers the MBA course in the Luxury and Fashion Business Management field. Admissions to the course are entrance-based and scores of the iMAT exam is accepted.

Candidates are selected for IIAD UG and PG programmes on the basis of the following:

  • Performance in the IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) or iMAT (for management programmes)
  • Performance in the Studio Test/Personal Interview
  • Portfolio review (for some programmes)

The process is similar, but PG applicants (M.Des / MBA) are assessed using iMAT instead of iDAT, and emphasis may be placed more on portfolio, work experience, or interview performance.

After the declaration of IIAD result 2026

  1. Confirm your IIAD admission by accepting the offer

  2. Pay the IIAD admission/registration fee within the given deadline

  3. Submit necessary documents and prepare for IIAD orientation.

No. The IIAD result is final and binding. Re-evaluation is not available as the process includes interviews and subjective assessments.

Indian Institute of Art and Design considers Class 12 and graduation aggregate secured from recognised board and university/institute. Furthermore, candidates must secure valid scores in iDAT and iMAT to qualify for the further process. Furthemore, candidates must appear for the personal interview round for the final shortlisting. For final admission, candidates must appear for the document verification and pay the fees to confirm a seat.

IIAD Delhi admission is based on iDAT and iMAT. The selection of students is based on personal interviews and exam scores. The shortlisted candidates have to pay the admission fees. 

Students have to apply online for admission at IIAD Delhi. Passed class 10+2 or completed graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% can apply.
