In order to apply for the Indian Law Institute, a student is required to possess an LLB degree or a five-year integrated BA LLB with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Furthermore, they should pass the ILICAT entrance exam that is organised by ILI. However, for entrance to this course, candidates have to submit the documents that confirm their eligibility for the LLM course. This postgraduate law course cannot be pursued without meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria and passing the ILICAT examination.

The eligibility criteria for the Master of Laws (LL.M) programme at the Indian Law Institute (ILI) are as follows:
Educational Qualifications:
1)A Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree with not less than 50% marks from any University/Institution recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI) to be eligible for enrollment as an advocate in India.
2)A Law Degree from a foreign university with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade as per Association of Indian University (AIU) Guidelines.
I hope this helps.
