Yes, you can get into INSD Indore (International School of Design - Race Course Road, Indore) with 85% in Class 12. The institute mainly accepts students based on academic merit only. Hence, securing 85% is considered a good score. However, students may connect with the admission desk of the institute to learn about the admission chances. Detailed admission criteria be obtained either in-person or via call and email.

You should have passed your 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the following topics Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocation subject Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practice, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics or Business Studies to be able to pursue B.Tech AI at Medi-Caps University in Indore. On the basis of these three subjects, the general category candidates are required to score at least 45 percent of these marks, whereas SC/ST/OBC (without creamy layer) are required to score at least 40 percent. Even if the candidate clears the sectional and overall cutoff in IPMAT exam but does not get shortlisted for the PI round, it means that the candidate is eligible but not among the top-ranked candidates based on the composite score. Such a candidate will not be considered for admission to the IPM programme.
Such candidates can opt for reappearing for the exam next year, as there is no provision of re-evaluation. Candidates can also consider applying to other institutes which accept IPMAT Indore scores, such as NIRMA University, TAPMI, etc.
