It's Indeed a great to hear from you that you are interested in pursuing your post graduation in industrial engineering from Canada. Yes, Canada indeed is a great country and as majority of the courses are in English it's best suited for students from India. However, admissions in any foreign university are totally different cup of tea as compared with Indian institutions. There are many nuances in the whole process. It is very nice to hear from you that after working for some years you are now interested in pursuing your M.Tech in industrial engineering. In older times, many people have taken the distance education route for their graduation and for post-graduation in engineering but recently University Grants Commission has declared that no professional course can be offered by any of the universities via distance learning mode. Hence for you to do your M.Tech you have perhaps two options.
Firstly take study leave from your organisation for 2 years, complete your education and join back alternatively search for a college of engineerin

The placement is pretty much decent in Industrial and management. Some of them have grabbed jobs from the biggest analytics firms like Mckinsey, UHG etc. The placement statistics for IME have been impressive and will continue to be due to emerging growth of data analytics and science in market.
