Candidates with 10+2 in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible for admission to the BCA program. Mathematics should be at the level of Matriculation for the student. The college accepts equivalences from other boards and admits students on merit basis on marks scored in the qualifying examination. Other candidates who had compartmentalized in one subject are also eligible to apply, provided they meet specific conditions stated by the college's guidelines.

The eligibility c to get  admission in Bacholar of Computer Application (BCA) programme at Mount Carmel College Bangalore students must meet some criteria 

  1. Pass the 10 + 2 from some karnataka or equivalent examinations.
  2. Should have maths as a compulsary subject in plus 2 
  3. Participation in a walk in interview conducted after the announcement of 12th result .

Good place for an MCA at SIMS is, because they have an exhaustive curriculum, where theory is clubbed together with practical application of computer applications. A course for two years primarily focused on advanced languages and industry-related skills, capable of working for various roles in the IT sector. An added significance is given for experience in projects and internship work. In addition, SIMS has an effective placement cell that helps the students get jobs in the better companies. Overall, SIMS prepares the students quite well to excel in the field of computer applications.

In Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology there is no provision for 100 % scholarship for MCA program. There could be scholarship for academic achievement or for reserved category or based on government rules; however, full scholarship for all types of fees is not common. That way nominated students may be offered partial scholarships or fee concessions depending on set criteria when obtaining an aid or a grant either at the college’s discretion or via external scholarship programs.
