There is a separate School of Design for the Programmes of Multimedia and Design. This Department has well-equipped labs with high-end workstations and it has gaming studios also where students can play and test the games on play station, PC, and x box platform. The faculty is highly qualified. Various companies visit LPU for the recruitment like Kony India, Amazon ( as 3d Artist), Rockstar Games, Xentrix studio, Dq entertainment, Prime focus, Green gold animation, etc. The eligibility criteria to apply for this programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (With English) or equivalent. I also had the same query when my niece was planning to take admission. After lot of inquiry we finally took admission in LPU wherein we were told that BCA is of 3 years and B.Tech is of 4 years. Counsellors also mentioned that BCA is solely computer related whereas B Tech incorporates technical subjects along with computer applications.
