Hi,
I understand that you are confused between choosing the right future. IT branch is a very good field in my perspective as we see the growth and many MNCs have already found its way. Growing in this sector will give you a bright future only when you believe that you can do it. IT is more over a technical course and is more computer Science oriented just think if you can put your 100% in exploring all the phases of computer applications. Never regret after you choose, when you do, do it with passion.
All the very best.

You probably can. Most of the times, it is up to colleges which give admission. So if you have a college in mind mention that. Some colleges will give you admission and some have other eligibility criteria like maths in 10+2.

All the colleges that I know of don't provide lateral entry usually. There is this college that provides Lateral Entry https://www.shiksha.com/it-software/course/amp/b-c-a-lateral-entry-direct-2nd-year-directorate-of-distance-education-madurai-kamaraj-university-287511
But again. Check with the college where you want to take admission whether they take lateral entries and do they have vacancies in 2nd year or not.
