In general, Maths is not required as a compulsory subjects for BCA as many universities allow students from commerce and even arts to do BCA. But, one more thing you need to be careful about is, if you want to pursue MCA, because for some university, for doing BCA, Maths is not compulsory in +2, but for doing MCA, you should have Maths as a subject in +2.

Yes, you just need the basic knowledge of computer as well as a good maths and you need to prepare for the entrance exams accordingly so that you can get admission in the BCA course.

First of all if you want to go IT/CS stream, then need to clear your doubts with 2 basic fundamentals. In IT it's all about software, in CS it all about software + hardware + OS core. So choose the same as per your interest like in software/programing language or in IT infra like network/server/Operating System, etc.
Now before Joining any college or university please check the placement %, type of companies coming in campus and infra of the campus.
