BCA is a job oriented degree course and you can go for a job immediately after BCA in Small and medium-size IT companies. Unfortunately, Indian IT industry does not prefer BCA for entry level Developer and Testers role. BCA graduates may get a junior developer or application support jobs. Market acceptance of BCA is not very high in formal IT sector. A degree can only help you to get only entry-level jobs and will require the acquisition of PG degrees such as MCA and M.Sc IT for a meaningful career.
B.Tech CSE graduate specializes in the theory of computation and design of computational systems. CSE graduates are trained to integrate several disciplines such as Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Software Design, etc. The CSE graduates are mainly involved in the development of software and hardware systems of various aspects of computing for products, systems and Information Systems. B.Tech IT is a programme wherein students are trained to work as Developer in the field of Computer Applications Development and Maintenance. B.Tech CSE graduates are the first choice of all top IT companies in India.

The Post Graduation Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) is one year course after graduation degree. Graduates of all disciplines are eligible for seeking PGDCA. Students of PGDCA are taught basics of Computer Systems and its applications. The syllabus includes exposure to Computer programming Languages, Office automation applications, Basic of Operating systems, Web Design, RDBMS basic knowledge of Internet and e-Commerce etc. The programme is specially designed to enable the students to pursue an entry-level career in the field of IT.
In an academic context M.Sc IT is a post graduate degree program that prepares students to meet the computer technology needs of business, government, healthcare, schools, and other kinds of organisations. M.Sc IT specialists assume responsibility for selecting hardware and software products appropriate for an organization, integrating those products with organizational needs and infrastructure, and installing, customizing, and maintaining those applications for the organisation's computer users. M.Sc IT is a higher degree in comparison to PGDCA and has more acceptability in Indian IT industry and also will help to get working visa abroad. M.Sc IT students are eligible to appear for GATE to seek admission in M.Tech where PGDCA students are not eligible for M.Tech, etc.
