Indian IT industry is in slow decline phase because of outcry against outsourcing in Western countries and increasing restrictions on working visas which has led to decrease in profits. Opportunities for IT professionals is declining rapidly. Unless you do BTech IT or BTech CS from top engineering college with good placement records, you may face challenges in getting good job in IT industry.

Yes, you can get admission in B.Tech in engineering. Try to appear for Diploma to Degree counselling. You will have a merit list, and you have to search colleges accordingly.
