Computer Science engineering equally covers both hardware and software aspects. Information technology engineering and software engineering has a lesser focus on the hardware aspect. However, this difference hardly matters as universities frequently keep updating the syllabus for each branch.
Unless and until, you get a job in a hardware manufacturing company like Intel, Logitech, etc. this little difference in the syllabus hardly matters. To get admission in any engineering college, you will have to appear for either JEE Mains or CET conducted by your state and get admission in college offering BE in IT.
