CSE has more emphasis on theory of computer Science & Fundamentals. It builds a strong foundation for systems programing. BTech IT emphasis is on IT applications use and development. CSE graduates can easily do Apps programing but vice versa is not true. Because of this reason CSE graduates have edge over IT graduates. Indian IT companies prefer CSE graduates over IT graduates.
