you see IT is very vast topic and jobs offered to a IT student depends upon which specialization have you done in this branch.
also packages rely on the fact that from which particular institution you got your degree.
for top and reputed colleges minimum package -- 4.0 to 5.5 lakhs
maximum package -- 8.0 to 9.5 lakhs

there may be only 500-700 seats for your branch, so chances are very less according to me ,but you should give it a try. I gave u this information on the basis as I know that a person with 10,000 too , has very less chance. fees will be in range of 1.75- 3.00 lakhs. if you have call on 1st or 2nd day then surely give a try but ,if it on 3rd counseling day,then I think it would not be possible for u to take admission there.
