While studying for BTech IT you must develop high skills on at least one Object Oriented Programming langauage with excellent understanding of Data structures. In addition high level of understanding of RDBMS will help you to become a good Software Engineer. During your spare time learn basics about functional areas such as Finance, Healthcare etc. This will help you to become Domain specific developer on job easily.

In present times it is just the terminology both BE and B.Tech are same courses. So no matter what you choose you will have similar opportunities. But you must be cautious about college you are taking admission go for IIT, NIT, IIIT, BITS, LPU, SRM etc. You may get a scholarship at LPU and SRM so it wont be costly. Placements are also very important to look at. So i would wish you Luck !

Yes, you can move to a technical recruitment field. Infact you would be a perfect fit as you are aware of the technical things that need to be checked during an interview & all that you need to do is pickup the soft skill/behavioural traits evaluation techniques. This will help you to evaluate a person from both the soft skill & technical skill perspective. Talent Acquisition is an interesting area as a career option .It is also a rewarding career

Hi Vivek, For being eligible to apply for MCA, you have to have mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or statistics as one of the subjects at graduation level. If you fulfill these criteria you are eligible for MCA. As far as other information regarding MCA is concerned, we would like to state that most of the entrance tests are conducted in April or May. Notifications are out in January or February. The combined MCA entrance tests held in India are: NIMCET for NITs, CET Maharashtra for Maharashtra colleges, UPMCAT for most colleges in UP, Andhra Pradesh CET for Colleges in AP,Orissa State MCA Test for all Colleges in Orissa
