Hello Abhi,
It's actually a perception that it's best to do M.Tech in infrastructure rather than pure civil. But, my sincere advise is to don't get swayed by this. You must select that subject in which you have interest and feel comfortable with.

1st batch of the mechanical branch at NSIT will pass out in 2019, so nothing can be said about the placements, but the faculty and course structure is good.

Location is not good but if you have the potential and ideas then faculties are always there for you. Nearest metro station is Jahangirpuri before 9 am you can get the direct cab to college from there.

There are few options when it comes to petroleum engineering. Definitely Presidency University is one of the best options because of its faculty, set up and also the industry practice structure makes it more viable option.

I was in same perception like you before joining Christ but now I would say that it's called discipline and not strictness. They want us to behave what corporate wants from us. I hope you understand my point. Placement and infrastructure are great here. I can say you can't find campus with this much infrastructure and placements together in the heart of Bangalore.

Hope you are doing great! As explained rightly by Ms. Sakshi, the placements have begun at AIIM for the first batch of 2-year full-time residential PGDM (Infrastructure Management) program. The packages offered to students so far have been over Rs 6.5 lakhs per annum with reputed infrastructure, EPC and consulting companies.
