Admission to the L.J. Institute of Engineering and Technology (L.J.I.E.T) can be moderately competitive. The college offers only BTech, MBA, MCA, and MTech courses. Admission to all these courses is done based on the scores obtained in entrance exams such as JEE Main exam for BTech and GATE for MTech. To be eligible for these exams, the candidates need to have a minimum of 45% marks in their previous qualification in a relevant stream.

L.J. Institute of Engineering and Technology (L.J.I.E.T) admissions for B.E./B.Tech have been opened as of April 2025 for the academic session 2025-26. In the first week of January 2025, registration for the GUJCET 2025 counseling for B.E./B.Tech courses started.
The last date for this was on May 20, 2025. The list for seat allotment for round 1 is expected to be out by June 13, 2025. The candidate may also apply to the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) for 75% seats, or through the institute's website for the remaining 25% NRI/management quota, as eligibility requires 60% in 10+2 (Science) and having a valid GUJCET

The Hi-Tech Institute of Engineering and Technology (HIET) selects students for B.E./B.Tech courses based on a combination of merit and entrance exams. Generally, candidates need to have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in a Science stream. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects, along with one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a Technical Vocational subject.

To be considered for the B.Tech course at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology (DYPIET), candidates should:
- Have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects and one of Mathematics, Biotechnology, Biology, or other specified subjects.

Admission to Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology (DYPIET), Pune, is competitive and merit-based through entrance examination scores such as MHT-CET or JEE Main. The candidates have to go through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The cutoff marks are program- and category-wise. For instance, the cutoff for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering was on average in the range 90-95 percentile for general students in recent years. Generally, the semester exam results at the Satyug Darshan Institute of Engineering and Technology are declared four to five weeks after the exams are over. The candidates are advised to contact the examination department of the college for accurate details.

Satyug Darshan Institute of Engineering and Technology offers only BBA, BTech, and BCA courses. Admission to BBA and BCA courses are done based on scores obtained in Class 12. Admission to BTech courses is done based on scores obtained in JEE Main exam. In 2024, the cutoff rank for the exam was around 401669.
