In Ghaziabad, the Hi-Tech Institute of Engineering and Technology (HIET) usually releases the results of the semester exams *4 to 6 weeks* after the exams are over.  As is typical among Uttar Pradesh's engineering schools, this schedule coincides with the academic calendars of associated universities such as Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow.

Without a JEE Main score, you are still eligible to apply for a B.Tech at the Hi-Tech Institute of Engineering and Technology (HIET), Ghaziabad.  Your 10+2 grades will determine your direct admission to the institute.  Individuals who have not taken JEE Main or CUET must take HIET's written exam, which will be followed by a group discussion and in-person interview.  The written exam is waived for candidates who scored well on the JEE Main or CUET, but they still need to show up for the interview and group discussion.
