No, candidates cannot directly join the Arundathi Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital. The admission is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). Once shortlisted, candidates must appear for the NEET-UG counselling process conducted by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences. The Institute offers Medical and Paramedical courses such as MBBS and Diploma in Cath Lab Technician, and Cardiology Technician, among many others.

Institute has been ranked 34th in " Medical Category" by India Today. Whereas the institute has been ranked # 101th out of 150 in the overall ranking by NIRF. The latest cut-off for MS in Orthopaedics at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences Gangtok are released by the institute and are as follows. The entrance exam accepted by the institute is NEET PG the overall cutoff for the general category is 18163. The cutoff of NEET PG for DNB General Surgery of Round 1 is 18163 and for round 2 the closing rank is 19188 and for the round 3 is 19574.

BDS admission at Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU is subject to the fulfillment of the NEET UG eligibility criteria. To be eligible to sit for the NEET UG exam, candidates must have passed Class 12, with an aggregate of at least 50% and English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.
