Candidates wanting to get admission to the MBA course must secure a valid score in the common entrance exams such as CAT,  XAT, SNAP,  NMAT, CMAT, IIFT, MAT, MAH CET, IBSAT, etc. As per the admission guidelines on the official website of IRMA Anand, the following criteria is used for the final selection of candidates:

  1. CAT 2023 / XAT 2024 / CMAT 2023 Percentiles (35%)
  2. Personal Interviews (PI) (35%)
  3. IRMA Written Ability Test (5%)
  4. Academic Performance (5%)

Admission to Institute of Rural Management Anand, is based on common entrance exams such as CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT. Students must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Shortlisted candidates are then eligible to appear for a IRMA Written Ability Test followed by a personal interview.

Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA Anand) is a private institute as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It was established in 1979 by Verghese Kurien. IRMA is not partially or fully controlled by the State or the Government of India. IRMA is accredited by NAAC with an A grade and is approved by AICTE.

As per the latest reports, the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) has announced its placements drive for the 43rd batch (2022-24) of its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management) - the PGDM (RM). The the highest salary package offered to PGDM (RM) students in 2024 stood at INR 31.16 LPA. Total offers made in 2024 stood at 325 which was comparitively higher than the previous year 2023.
