Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA Anand) is a private institute as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It was established in 1979 by Verghese Kurien. IRMA is not partially or fully controlled by the State or the Government of India. IRMA is accredited by NAAC with an A grade and is approved by AICTE.
IRMA Anand comprises of 11 centres of research excellence. Large-scale field experiments being carried out by the Verghese Kurien Policy Lab for several national and international social transformation projects. 80+ research papers of IRMA faculty have been published in reputed international journals in 2022-23.
IRMA is a private college, established in 1979. IRMA Anand is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
