Based on the reviews and ratings, both VIT and SRM are highly reputed institutions with strong computer Science engineering programs. However, VIT is known for its emphasis on hands-on learning and practical experience, while SRM focuses more on theoretical knowledge. See there is no such thing as cutoff there will be ranking everyone can Take CS but the fees will be varying.
Officially SRM University never published the cut-off for specific branch and campus but as per previous year and current trend CSE in kattankulathur campus has been given to top 3k to 3.5K rank holders of SRMJEEE
