There could be many reasons why IIIT Bangalore is an underrated college. The biggest reason is that it is a public-private co-owned Institute. However, the institute has been ranked by several prominent raking bodies for its excellent academics, curriculum, faculty and infrastructure.IIIT Hyderabad is more famous for its coding culture than its research culture. Due to its massive participation in GSOC and MNC placements, the masses fail to realize that it's a research university.
