The 2025 IIIT Bangalore placements report has been released. According to the same, 288 full-time and 350 internship offers were made to the students. The highest package was received by students from the iMTech CSE branch, with a package of INR 150 LPA. The average package for the same stream during IIIT Bangalore placements 2025 was INR 37.01 LPA. The highest and average packages for the iMTech ECE batch were INR 89.12 LPA and INR 37.95 LPA, respectively.

The campus is spread across 9 acres. It has smart classrooms that boast smart boards, high-speed data networks, LCD projectors and modern laboratories. The library has a collection of over 100,000 books, journals, and newspapers. An e-library also exists with online databases and journals.
IIITB has separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are fully residential and provide all the basic amenities. The college encourages sports and has a football ground, cricket ground, tennis court, and swimming pool. In addition, the college boasts a cafeteria, a medical center, and a bookstore.
IIIT Bangalore is present in Electronics city phase 1, Hosur road, Bangalore. IIITB is around 52 km from Kempegowda airport and 22 km from KSR station. It may take about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the institute via BMTC Bus and 45 minutes via taxi. The closest metro is Banashankari.
