Yes, it is a residential college. However, it is not compulsory, but it is often encouraged to take up hostel considering the rigorous nature of the PGDM program here at IMI, Kolkata.

The cut-off depends on the management. Besides this, graduation marks do play a role in selection. Once you are shortlisted, you will be notified.

Last years's CAT cut off for IMI Kolkata was 60%. Although there is a selection criteria that every aspirants need to clear to get in. After clearing CAT shortlisted candidates will be called for further screening process consisting of essay writing, psychometric test, extempore rounds followed by personal interview.

The cut off depends on the management. It's completely at their discretion. Besides this, graduation marks do play a role in selection but it won't affect your shortlisting that much as a low CAT score would.
