The faculty, international exposure, tie ups with top notch players of the industry, an infrastructure which gives a wholesome learning experience marks off IMI-Kolkata from other institutions of the country. The source pedagogy and the medium of learning is adapted based on the current requirements of the industry.

Companies from various spheres visit the campus for summer internships, live projects and final placements. This year JSW, Deloitte, PWC, Genpact, Amazon, Reliance Textile, ICICI Bank, ITC, to name a few have recruited students from the campus.

The college has hosted many conferences in the past. This month, the Marketing Conference Marcon and the Finance and Economics Conference Finecon was held in the campus. The college has also hosted the APEA Conference and has witnessed the presence of global luminaries in the campus like Stephen Fleming, MJ Akbar, Nadira Babbar, Ex South Korean Prime Minister, Dr Rathin Roy, to name a few. IMI Kolkata was also the knowledge partner to the Horasis Asia Meet held this year.

The academic record, the entrance exam score, student's performance in the interview and other extracurricular skills possessed by the students.

There are students from all across the nation. We have students from the southern part of India too.

CAT scores and class 10th and class 12th scores are the basic requirements. Apart from that there are different rounds of selection process that one need to clear to get into IMI K. Rounds would be essay writing, extempore, personal interview.

Hello, college working hours is from morning 9:00 am to evening 6:00 pm. Although, sometimes classes can be stretched till 7pm to 8 pm depending upon the schedule.
