Hello Abhishek,
It is indeed great to know your desire to pursue PhD. It's great. Normally speaking, one can pursue Ph.D without attending any college. Hence, I feel it is perfectly possible to do what you are thinking. Firstly, you will have to clear entrance exam for admission. Then search and get accepted by guide. Then select research topic with guidance from your guide. Register yourself with university for this subject and guide. Then, you are on your own.

I think you should do CS IT from iiit Gwalior. But it also depends upon your convenience and interest. You can get insight of both and then take decision. Best of luck.

Not so good if we talk about MS course. In 2017, there were only 4 companies who offered 4 placement to students with a package of 4.8 and 3 LPA. Companies were Vignan University, Forbes marshell and SVP lasers.

IIEST-Shibpur beats all in terms of placement. Look at the figures and the companies who visit. Microsoft, Google, Pwc, coal India, Tata steel, Hindalco, ZS associates and what not. Be assured of a good future if you join IIEST.

Industrial engineering is a good branch but the thing that matters is what interests you the most.
If you want to do engineering then you can get admission in top colleges like IPU and JEC. If you don't like the branch then you can change it in the inter level college counselling.
