Jamia Hamdard University MBBS admissions are entrance-based. To get admission to the MBBS programme at the university, candidates must appear for the NEET UG exam. Candidates are required to fill NEET-UG application form for MBBS admission. After qualifying the entrance exam, candidates must apply for the NEET UG Counselling, conducted by MCC for admission to MBBS course.
To be eligible for the Hamdard University MBBS programme, candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks.

While at Jamila Milia Islamia, the course tuition fee ranges between INR 23,400 and INR 3.9 lakh. From the fees, Jamila Milia Islamia BSc fees is more economical.
In the NIRF 2023 rankings, Jamia Hamdard ranks second and Jamia Milia Islamia ranks third under the university category. Students can consider other factors, such as university location and placements as well.

The university has a total seat intake of 390 for the BSc programme. There ae 330 seats at the main campus and 60 at the Kannur campus. The seat allotment is done based on merit in the last qualifying exam or scores in entrance test for BSc Nursing. Jamia Hamdard admit candidates to the BSc courses based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Hence, the applicants scores in Class 12 or equivalent exam are considered. For admission to BSc Nursing course, students are required to take the Jamia Hamdard entrance exam. However, it select students on merit-basis as well.
