Jamia Hamdard

Jamia Hamdard University (Deemed-to-be) offers an MBBS programme of four-and-a-half-year academic duration followed by one year of compulsory rotating internship. At the undergraduate level, the university offers the MBBS programme through the Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. The results of NEET-UG determines the admission to MBBS programme at Jamia Hamdard University. The date of NEET 2024 was  May 5, 2024. It's anticipated that admissions to Jamia Hamdard MBBS will open with the release of the NEET-UG results. In the university's All India Quota, every seat (100%) is pooled. The Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research does not have any management quotas or seats.

At the undergraduate level, Jamia Hamdard University (Deemed-to-Be) provides a four-year BPharm programme. The BPharm programme lasts four years and is divided into eight semesters. The university offers lateral entry courses in addition to standard BPharm courses. DPharm graduates can enrol in the three-year BPharm (LE) programme. Typically, the admission cycle for Jamia Hamdard starts in January. Applicants can review the application deadline and adjust their application for the desired course. A total of 120 places are available for BPharm at Jamia Hamdard. Sixty of the 120 total, including sponsored and NRI candidates, are available for the general and SFS categories. For BPharm, the lateral entrance seat intake is 12.

Every academic year, at the beginning of admission, Jamia Hamdard posts its most updated entrance requirements, or prospectus, on its official website. Students must adhere to the procedure and review the eligibility and selection requirements specific to the course. All of the courses have entrance requirements or merit-based admissions. For example, JEE Main and NEET UG tests are required for admission to the BTech and MBBS programmes. On the other hand, entrance to courses like BCA is based on merit in the best five subjects from Class 12. A number of the deemed-to-be University's UG courses, including BA, BA (Hons), BSc (Hons), BBA, BJMC, and BCom, also accept the CUET UG, which is administered by NTA.
