Admission to M.Tech in CSE and M.Tech in ECE will be done through CCMT counselling while for all other courses through CUET PG. Candidates must ensure that they meet the subject-wise eligibility criteria for JNU M.Tech admission 2025.

For DU and JNU, the expected cutoff for MA Sanskrit is generally between 80-100 for the General category. Nevertheless, cutoffs are subject to variations depending on parameters such as applicant numbers and number of seats. Being a former DU student would not necessarily make a difference. Your score is good, you can easily get admission in both of the colleges.

No, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) generally does not allow lateral entry into the 2nd year of its B.A. (Hons) programs. Admission is on the basis of JNU Entrance Exam (now CUET-UG) at the first year only, which has a structured three-year curriculum. For undergraduate courses at JNU, lateral entry is rare.
In as much as that, the system is inclined towards continuous progression. There may be exceptions for particular cases (such as transfer students) but there was no general late lateral entry policy upto now so, you would have to start from the first year after qualifying via CUET-UG and meeting eligibility (10+2 with 50%+ marks).

If it is too late for JNU ( Jawaharlal Nehru University) entrance exam then you should go for the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) for undergraduation and post graduation programs.
As JNU is using CUET for most of the admissions of undergraduation, post graduation and Diploma programs, you are likely to get admission in JNU after scoring good marks in CUET.
