Food technology can be a very promising course given you have interest in the same. You have a very rather good marks expectations in JEE. Try the official joint counselling. You might get a decent college. Biotechnology itself is rather a new subject in India. Food technology is just one part of it. Medical Biotechnology Microbiology etc are also parts of it. There is not any specified books which can guarantee your rank under 100, but for good rank you may choose resonance distance learning packages.

Hello Rajat,
It is quite difficult, if you belong to general category or OBC category, but if you are a SC or ST, then there is a chance to get low rank NITs, so if you are SC or ST, then you must participate in counselling may you got it.
But, if you belong to general category, then you must try in BIT.

According to your marks you may get SPA, Delhi in the last round, but you will get SPA-Bhopal, NIT-patna or BIT-Mesra.

As per your JEE Mains marks, you may not get any reputed colleges, so better you keep focused to your other exams.

Since your marks in JEE Mains are bit low so you may not get the chance to study in any government college on the basis of your JEE marks. In my opinion start looking forward for your other exams.

Well, you will not get any reputed govt or private colleges. So, better, I suggest you to keep your eye on other entrances examinations. And, if you are quite clear over your concepts, you may put your best efforts in JEE Advanced.

Hi Kumar,
As per you score in JEE Mains, you may end with any IIITs in last round. You may also get lower branches like biomedical, metallurgy in some NITs. But in my opinion, apply for LMNIT and Thapar University, or more precisely start preparing for JEE Advanced and your other exams that are being lined up.

Yes, you may as textile engineering branch can be achieved at lower rank also. But chances are less for general category candidates. Just wait till the last round of counselling.
