There are 150+ top Engineering colleges in India that accept JEE Main scores. Among these, 85+ colleges are owned by the government, 60+ colleges are privately owned, and public-private entities own 2 BTech colleges. JEE Main is one of the top entrance exams for admission to op JEE colleges in India. IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, etc., are some of the best Engineering colleges in India accepting JEE Main score.

University of Rajasthan accepts valid national and international level entrance test scores. Thus, candidates with valid JEE Main scores are eligible for BTech admission at the university.
The JEE Main tentative dates for sessions 1 and 2 have been announced by the NTA. As per the announcement, the session 1 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in January and the second session in April.

There are more than 4,700 ECE colleges in India that admit students to Electronics and Communication Engineering programs at various levels every year. There are many entrance exams conducted for admission to ECE courses, out of which JEE Main is one of the most prominent ones. A total of 1,266 Electronics & Communication Engineering colleges in India accept the JEE Main exam scores for giving admission to students for the BTech ECE course.

Yes, you can appear in the JEE Advance if your category is ST/SC, or OBC but mostly cut off of general students are than 90 percentile, so if you are general category, it may or may not depend upon cut off.
