Yes, you can take admission in Techno India University without JEE Main, depending on the course. For BTech, admissions also consider marks in WBJEE and TNJEE instead of JEE Main. A few UG courses like BBA, BCA, and BSc allow admission on Class 12 marks or university entrance test. You should look up the particular eligibility for your selected course on the university website.

No, JEE Main is not compulsory  for the selection of candidates to BTech programme. The college also considers scores of Vedam Scholastic Aptitude Test (VSAT). The qualified candidates must also perform well in PI round conducted by the college.

Yes, you may join Kanpur Institute of Technology without JEE Main, but with direct admission against vacant seats only, which account for 15% of total seats under management/NRI quota. Otherwise, admission is by entrance examinations like JEE Main, JEECUP, or CUET (NTA), as the case may be, based on the course. For B.Tech courses like IT, JEE Main is necessary, and for Diploma courses like Civil Engineering, JEECUP is necessary.

JEE Main Rank Predictor is a tool develped on past year percentile and rank data. When any candidate provides their NTA percentile, the rank predictor of JEE Mains will give an estimated rank by analysing the previous year percentile vs rank information. The accuracy of JEE Main Rank Predictor is precisely equal to the actual rank but one major factor will be total number of candidates who take the test. Candidates can also check marks vs percentile JEE Mains 2026 to get analysis of their scores in the exam.
