Based on the analysis of previous year's data for JEE Main, if your CRL rank is around 52,000, your EWS rank is expected to be in the range of 30,000-35,000. This estimation is based on the relationship between CRL rank and EWS rank from past years. Your actual EWS rank may vary due to current factors affecting the ranking process.

To change your category, you can make the necessary changes in the JEE Main application form during the correction window, which usually opens for a limited period of time after the first session of the exam is conducted.

GNDU have B.Tech lateral admission. However Electrical engineering branch is not available here. So think about some other branches. Further JEE Main is not required for lateral admission. However University will conduct own entrance exam.

The reputation of the college may affect the range. College with high reputation will have higher range. You cannot get admission into college through JEE main exam. You need to separately write exam or you should be your state topper in 12th boards to get direct admission. Even if you are taking admission through JEE main result you need to have a percentile of about 98-99.
