It is highly unlikely to secure admission in a top college for B.Tech with a rank of 950,000 in JEE Main. Typically, admission to the best colleges for B.Tech requires a much higher rank due to the intense competition and limited seats available in these institutions. Candidates with ranks in the range of 75,000 to 100,000 may have opportunities in colleges under the home-state quota, but a rank of 950,000 may not be competitive for admission to the top colleges. You can try for DU or other universities that take BTech students without considering JEE Mains exam.

With a JEE Main general rank of 372,000 and an EWS rank of 57,000, getting into top-tier government colleges for CSE (Computer Science Engineering) or ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) might be challenging. Here are some colleges that you can still get:
- CGC Landran, Mohali, Punjab.
- Jain University Bangalore, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
- GITAM (Deemed To Be University), Hyderabad, Telangana.
