There are various reputed engineering institutes that accept the 50-60 percentile in JEE Main. One need minimum 50 % in most of the cases for aerospace engineering. You can search about top 10 colleges for aeronautical engineering. Also you can use Shiksha predictor.

These could be your best choices via JoSAA if you have a really good JEE Mains Rank below 1500. These Include NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Rourkela, NIT Surathkal, and MNNIT (Allahabad) and other NIT'S etc.

Class 12 marks have no weightage in the preparation of JEE Main ranks. But for the college eligibility criteria, a candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with at least 75% marks (or be in the top 20 percentile in the respective board) in the qualifying examination. This includes the marks obtained in both theory and practical exams.

The last date to fill the JEE Mains 2023 application form will be March 7. No application shall be accepted after the JEE Main 2023 registration last date. The authority will conduct the JEE Main 2023 session 2 on April 06, 08, 10, 11, and 12.

The rank at 96.73 percentile would be around 37k because of the season conducted, twice the rank will decrease because the best one will count. Best wishes to you.
