Hello Akhilesh, I must say that you have received quite good percentile in your JEE Mains examination. In addition you are from OBC category. Hence I feel that you should get admission in either of the NIT's that you have mentioned. However it is also recommended that you download the college predictors available on the net and SEE for yourself where you stand as far as probable admissions in different branches in different NIT's. Best wishes to you.

Hello Seturam, it's next to impossible to guess ranking versus percentile. This is so because no one knows except NTA as to how many students have how much percentile. You will have to wait for the NTA to announce final result. However there are plenty of websites on the net offering this service. Just to whet your appetite, you can take recourse to these sites. Best wishes to you.

Hello Amu, I am afraid, with the percentile that you have mentioned, it would be quite tough to get admission in any government college. Only perhaps in some odd branch which no one wants, you can think of getting admission. However I would like to advise you to appear again in the next session of JEE Mains examination with the aim of improvement in your percentile. Best wishes to you.

The number of Engineering colleges in India is very high. India is the home of engineering colleges and a variety of engineering courses are offered at different levels. Without any second thought IITs are the most premuim engineering institutions of India for any branch of engineering ut unfortunately it demands a high amount of hard work to crack it as the cut-offs are very high. But that doesn't mean that other prestigious engineering colleges in India are not worth it. They are no less than IITs in giving right education and best placements to the students. I am from Rajasthan and given from my personal experience, besides the IITs

Hello Jaya Bharati, let me tell you that almost 50% seats across India in engineering colleges could not be filled up last year. What does it mean? It means you can definitely get admission. But where is a big question. Then, after one completes graduation from such colleges, will there nlve job offers? No one knows. In view of this I would strongly recommend that you should look for graduation in other subjects. Best wishes to you.

Hello Prasanna, yes indeed. You have obtained a very good score in JEE Mains. Any percentile above 90 is indeed an excellent figure. With this I am sure you will get admission in Coimbatore campus of Amrita University. However I would like to recommend that you should aim for getting admission in an IIT and prepare for JEE Advanced. I am sure you will be qualified to appear for JEE Advanced. Amrita reserves 70% seeds seats for those who pass the entrance exam conducted by itself and admissions to remaining 30% seats are given based on the results of JEE Mains. I am attaching a link that would give you all the required information. http
