For pursuing Masters in Journalism, there are a few great govt. run colleges in India:
1. Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi
2. AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Delhi
3. Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi
4. Institute of Mass Communication Film and Television Studies (IMCFTS), Kolkata

There is no specific course for travel journalism in India. You can study Journalism at UG/PG level and look for jobs in travel sector or journals as a writer or a photographer, whichever interests you. You can apply for jobs in travel magazines and travel website, once you are a graduate. You can also take up internships in travel sector to have maximum exposure.

Graduates in any stream can apply for Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism. You can apply for admission directly through IIJNM's website. You need to download the application form and submit it by 31st March. They will then intimate you with the aptitude test's dates which will be followed by an interview.

Thne applications for ACJ Entrance Exam open in March/ April. The exam is conducted in May. After all the evens of the entrance test (results, document verification, counselling, etc.), the classes can start anytime in the next few months.
