Undergraduate Admissions (B.Tech)
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must have a 10+2 pass with compulsory subjects like Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory, with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
Admission Process
Entrance Exam: Candidates are required to appear for JEE Main.
Counseling Registration: After attaining the qualifying rank, candidates need to register for the counseling process on the UPTAC central counseling portal.
Choice Filling: Fill the choices of desired courses and colleges during counseling.
Document Verification: Only in case of seat being given, document verification for candidates.
Payment of fee: Confirm the admission and make the tuition fee payments as demanded.
Direct Admission
In addition, under management quota, direct admission is offered to candidates eligible for eligibility criteria. Usually, such reservations are kept for 15% of the seats available.
M.Tech and MBA and MCA Postgraduates Eligibility criteria
For M.Tech: B.E./B.Tech candidates must have more than 50% of marks.
For MBA: A degree in undergraduate studies with a minimum of qualifying marks
For MCA: Should have passed mathematics in 10+2 level or graduate studies.
Admission Process
Entrance Exam: Students have to take entrance examinations related to their respective courses; GATE for M.Tech, or other examinations that the University has recommended for admission into MBA/ MCA courses.
Submission of Application Form: Submits through JSSATE website once the results of the entrance examination are declared.
Guidance and Selection: Attend counselling sessions and get admission as fee is collected after the final selection.

The process of applications starts in May-June with the declaration of JEE Main. The exact dates, however, differ every year and are published on the website.
