Typically, the standard eligibility requirement for undergraduate (UG) courses at Kalinga University is a completion of 10+2 with at least 45% marks. For postgraduate (PG) courses, candidates are generally required to have obtained a bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. However, for candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC, the minimum marks required may be relaxed to 40%.

PRSU is a government entity, whereas Kalinga University is a reputed private institute in Raipur. Both universities offer a full-time BA LLB course. It is more clear that PRSU will be a cheaper and affordable choice than Kalinga University. The fee structure is different for different courses. For a student who wants to take admission in Kalinga University in UG, he or she has to be pass in the 12th with minimum of 40% marks and then he will have to appear and pass the Kalinga University's own entrance exam named KALSEE (Kalinga Scholastic entrance exam) then he/she can apply for the admission in UG in the University. The fee structure is different for different courses for example fee expenses for the B.Sc is about RS 60,950 per annum and it's about 1.81 Lakhs for 3 years ( i.e full course fee) and for BA it's about RS 90,900 per annum.
