In cases where two or more candidates score the same marks in the Karnataka PGCET exam, KEA takes into account a tie-breaking method to assign ranks to the candidates. As per the Karnataka PGCET tie breaking criteria, the total aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying exam will be considered first. Candidate who has higher qualifying marks is given the higher rank in Karnataka PGCET merit list. If the qualifying exam marks are also the same, then the tie-breaking process moves to the candidate's age. Candidate who is older is considered first during the Karnataka PGCET merit rank allotment.

No, candidates cannot get a merit rank based only on qualifying exam marks. Karnataka Examinations Authority considers the Karnataka PGCET entrance test marks to prepare the merit list. The qualifying exam marks are critical for candidates to meet the eligibility conditions for admission through PGCET scores. Candidates will not get a Karnataka PGCET rank if they do not meet the qualifying score eligibility from their graduation level.

No, KEA will not consider marks obtained in the qualifying exam while preparing the Karnataka PGCET merit list, also known as the rank list. Only the marks scored by a candidate in the Karnataka PGCET exam are used to allot a merit position. However, candidates will have to meet the minimum percentage requirement in their qualifying exam to be eligible for admission and for the merit list preparation. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility conditions are not included in the PGCET rank list.

Karnataka Examinations Authority does not release the PGCET cutoff scores/ranks along with the declaration of the results. Candidates find the Karnataka PGCET cutoff ranks during the counselling process. KEA releases separate PDF files for Karnataka PGCET MBA and MCA cutoff along with the seat allotment details. The cutoff PDF mentions the last ranks at which the Karnataka PGCET participating college closed the allotment round.

KEA does not release the Karnataka PGCET rank lists for MBA, MCA or other courses. However, candidates find the Karnataka PGCET ranks mentioned inside the login dashboard. The KEA official website hosts the link to check the Karnataka PGCET ranks along with the results. Candidates can access their individual rank and score for their chosen course after logging in with their credentials. The PGCET rank list will be part of the overall PGCET result, which will include scores, ranks, and other relevant information.

The Karnataka PGCET result, is released in the form of a scorecard. Karnataka PGCET scorecard includes multiple details related to the candidate, as well as the exam. Candidates will find details such as their name, PGCET number, category (e.g., General, SC, ST, OBC). Additionally, candidates will also find their overall score and rank in the Karnataka PGCET exam. Karnataka PGCET scorecard also specifies the subject/program applied for and may include section-wise scores.
