Karnataka PGCET

The provisional answer key is released within three to four days after the exam. Candidates can check it online and raise objections before the final key is published.

The admit card is typically released 10 days before the exam date. For the 2026 session, candidates can download it tentatively from the first week of May.

The Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam for MBA and MCA courses is scheduled for May 24, 2026. The exam for ME and M.Tech courses will be conducted on May 23, 2026.

The last date to apply for Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam is extended to April 20. KEA has the authority to change the timeline to fill Karnataka PGCET application form.

Karnataka PGCET 2026 registration is already active. Candidates can fill PGCET application form on the official website, until the last date.

After Karnataka PGCET seat allotment result is declared, candidates have four choices:

• Accept and Freeze
• Accept and Upgrade
• Reject and Slide
• Reject and Withdraw

These choices determine if they finalise the seat or seek other options

Soon after the Karnataka PGCET document verification, eligible candidates enter their preferred colleges and courses online. There is no limit to the number of options. Options recorded by the last day are frozen and considered for the final seat allotment.

Karnataka PGCET mock allotment familiarises candidates with potential course and college allocations based on ranks. It does not grant an actual seat but allows candidates to change their options before the real allotment.

KEA allocates seats in two main allotment rounds based on candidate performance. If seats remain vacant after these rounds, an additional counselling round may be conducted to fill the remaining spots

The process includes document verification, option entry, mock seat allotment, modifying options, first-round seat allotment, choice filling, fee payment, and finally reporting to the allotted college with original documents.
