Students pursuing Karnataka SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) must complete their examinations in 9 major subjects such as Languages (Kannada, English, Hindi, etc.) alongside Mathematics, Science and Social Science. The educational institution hosts the yearly exam through March and April during which subjects receive 100 points each. Each subject allows 3 hours to complete the test which contains both MCQs and descriptive questions in the question paper. The official website of the Karnataka SSLC board may not open due to heavy traffic, once the results are out. Then students can make use of SMS or Digilocker to check Karnataka SSLC result 2026.

Yes, the Karnataka SSLC board provides sufficient preparation leaves for you to prepare for the exams. Students are advised to finish their syllabus and practice the sample papers well ahead in time so as to avoid any panic situation once exams begin.

The hall tickets for the Karnataka SSLC (Class 10) exams are normally released by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) in March, a few weeks prior to the start of the exams. Exams were set for March 25–April 6, 2024, for example, and hall passes were made available on March 9, 2024.


Exams are expected to begin in late March or early April of 2025, and hall passes are expected to be made available in March of that year.

Karnataka Board provides previous years' question papers and model papers, which are at the forefront of exam preparation. Besides, websites such as Shiksha.com.
