The University of Calicut was established in 1968 by bifurcating the University of Kerala. It is the second university in Kerala and is the largest university in the state. The university was created by taking four post-graduate departments and 54 constituent colleges from the University of Kerala. No, Kerala board issue do not issue separate hall ticket for practical and theory exam. Students are given only one hall ticket with which they can appear for both practical and theory.

According to the latest information available, the institutes that provide MCA and are self-financing institutes that provide good placements are:

  1. Rajagiri College of Social Sciences.

  2. Amal Jyothi College of Engineering.

  3. Saintgits College of Engineering (FISAT).
