Admissions are done based on the rank list prepared from the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) Results. The total number of seats is fifty. Furthermore, passing LLB is also a prerequisite for taking admission to the LLM programmes. Thus, one needs to clear all these conditions in order to be considered for admission here. The ease of selection will depend mainly on the rank attained in the entrance test.

Well, the Thiruvalla campus House the Department of Law. They offer LLM and PhD programmes.
The programmes are offered in Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law, Health Care Law, Public International Law, Environment Law and Commercial Law. It has been offered since 2014. The PhD programme however was started in 2017.
Thus, the basic LLM programmes including Constitutional law and criminal law might be the best courses offered by Thiruvalla campus considering its relevance.

According to the official Central University of Kerala website, there are 40 seats available for BA in International Relations which is again the only BA course which is offered by the university. This is according to the seat allocation circular for the academic year 2024-25.

Kerala University holds a Centralized Allotment Process following the conclusion of the screening process. There are several rounds to the allocation process. Applicants can view the allotment on Kerala University's official website. The allotment URL that is provided in their profile must be checked by them. Those who receive an allocation must pay the university tuition in order to secure their spot at the institution.

Around 80% of students are placed in LLM course, at CUK and the highest package is INR 10 to 15 lacs, the average package is INR 4.78 lacs.
The top recruiters are in high court, district court, and supreme court, and 50% got internships in district court and have good experience.

Central University of Kerala offers a 4 years B.Com. B.Ed. course at the UG level. To get admitted in this course, Candidates passed 12th/equivalent with 50% marks from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply. Securing a seat in this course at CUK is hard as the course offers admission to 50 students. Candidates also need to score a good marks in CUET to secure seat in this course. The 2023 CUET PG cutoff marks for the Master of Laws [L.L.M.] at Central University of Kerala were 90 for the General category. While in 2022 the cutoff marks for LLM at the Central University of Kerala were 26 marks in CUET-PG.
