Initially, when people hear about DSCE, the first thing which pops into their minds is poshness, a blend of north and south, which is true. It all depends on which company you choose to be with so that shouldn't be troublesome. I got exposure to a wide variety of people and experiences. Placements :Placements are good, the highest package offered was 15 Lacs and the average package is 4.5 Lacs. Service based companies like Accenture and TCS select 600+ students. There is a 100% placement for all eligible students. You would likely get placed at least in a service based company for sure. Infrastructure :The infrastructure is pretty good, the whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled with JIO NET labs and classrooms are good and well maintained. For sports, the college has its own badminton, football etc. Teams. There is a medium sized football court and a basketball court. Food is decent and there are 3 canteens in total. Hostel rooms are also decent and might be expensive on one hand. Faculty :Faculty members are average. There are a few good ones but more average/bad teachers. Every college will have good and bad teachers, though, so can't really complain there. The good faculty seems to be dedicated and cares for the students and helps out. All faculty members are well qualified but qualification does not necessarily mean they are good at teaching. A lot of teachers are there, so no shortage there. Since it's autonomous, its course is tailored to the industry better than VTU.

Probably one of the best in DSCE. The main reason is our HOD Dr Ramesh Babu. He is also the vice principal, his encouragement towards bright and interested students is lot. He gives you lot of opportunity to grow and any time any help he will be there. When it comes to teaching faculty they are all well experienced but few subjects there are new ones. Depends on how you make use of them. Placements are the one of the highest across all depts. Avg package is around 4L. The highest go more than 10 varies year by year. Companies from mass recruiters to big product based companies will visit.
