Having a good experience at this college. It has good placements.

Placements: I am a student of CSE from the (2025 passing out) batch of St. Joseph's College of Engineering, Chennai. Approximately 75-80 perecnt of students from my course got placed during the recent placement season. The highest package offered is 47 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiters for our course included Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, Zoho, HCL and Tiger Analytics. Around 25 percent of students from my course received internships in companies such as Ashok Leyland and other core/IT firms.

Infrastructure: Our department is equipped with spacious classrooms, fully air-conditioned computer and research labs and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the academic blocks. Campus also includes a well-stocked central library with digital access to journals and e-books relevant to our course. Smart boards and projectors are available in most classrooms to support interactive learning. The hostels offer good infrastructure with clean rooms, 24X7 water and electricity, and Wi-Fi access. The quality of food in the mess is decent and hygienic, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available.

Faculty: Teachers in our department are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Most faculty members hold postgraduate or doctoral degrees and are approachable for academic support. The teaching quality is effective, with a mixture of theoretical instruction and practical application. The course curriculum is well-structured and is regularly updated to align with current industry trends. It includes both core subjects and electives relevant to the job market, along with project work and practical training that help students become industry-ready.

The college that makes my dream come true.

Placements: Around 70%-75% of students got placed and top recruiting is Edu-Varsity and Federal Bank. The highest package is Rs 14 LPA and the lowest is Rs 4 LPA. Many students got internship opportunities around Tamil Nadu.

Infrastructure: The department offers Wi-Fi connections, a modern lab with A/C facilities, a smart class is also there and they have a well-stocked library. Hostels are clean with basic amenities and the food provided in the mess is tasty. Also, they have canteen and the prices are very less compared to other canteens and good medical facilities. They also have an indoor and outdoor court to ensure the balance of the student.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful to the students. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good and the curriculum is everything mostly related to industry. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty and the passing percentage is 80% to 90%.

Other: The reason I chose this college is because they make ordinary students into self-disciplined students.

College has nice infrastructure and great faculty, but students still couldn't get enough exposure.

Placements: About 70% of my seniors are placed in our department. The lowest package offered is around 3-4 LPA, the highest package is 47 LPA, and the average package offered is around 6-8 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies so far are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Zoho, etc. In my current batch, about 20% of students got internships as of now. Some of the internship companies are C1X, PWC, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, with many facilities, and it is also easy to fit in quickly. The hostel infrastructure is not that great, because the rooms are not worth the fees we pay every year. It is a decent place to stay.

Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful when it comes to academics. They really try to help the students, and they also keep pushing students to learn new things. 99% of faculty members are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and easily approachable whenever needed. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are not that hard as we get to write three model examinations before the final semester examination. The current pass percentage for each subject is 45% out of 100%.

Other: I chose Artificial Intelligence and Data Science because it is an emerging and evolving field across the globe in recent times. I was able to see how this domain of Artificial Intelligence has brought an impact on society. There are a very few events conducted in our college called Cultural Day. It is conducted for each batch separately on a different date, where we wear our traditional wear and participate in various competitions. The other event is College Day, similarly conducted for each academic batch separately, where students participate in dancing and win prizes.

My college is a bright future for the youth.

Placements: 80% of students got placed. The lowest package is 2.4 LPA and the highest is 47 LPA. Recruiting companies are Amazon, Accenture, TCS, Ennvee, Zoho, Turing, JMan, Hexaware, LTI, Mindtree, Vealvo, Myways AI, MU Sigma, and Avasoft. 20% of students got internships at Amazon, TCS, Zoho, Myways AI, Turning, Avasoft. Top role offered is SDE.

Infrastructure: Facilities are available like Wi-Fi, 3 Labs, classrooms, library, smart classrooms, dispensary room, etc. Hostel is available with 24/7 Wi-Fi, good quality beds and pillows, twice daily room cleaning, laundry facilities, unlimited good-quality food, and a very large playing area.

Faculty: Teachers provide good knowledge to students. Most teachers completed Ph.D. course. The course helps students to get ready for the industry requirements. Semester exams are easy because they provide the study material to get a good score. Pass percentage is above 90%.

Other: Events are fine in my college. I chose this course because I am interested in IT fields. They provide various help to students like scholarships, free education for 1st graduates, etc.
