The official KMAT answer key of every candidate released by the examination authority contains each question and its status which means, the answer marked by the candidate and right answer. The answer key will also have the question which were not attempted. The following information will be mentioned on the KMAT answer key:

If released, the KMAT Karnataka answer key will be released on the official website of the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges' Association (KPPGCA), the exam conducting authority for KMAT Karnataka. Candidates can download the KMAT answer key using their login credentials. KMAT answer key can be downloaded by following the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the official website
- Login using the Application Number and Password
- Click on the 'Answer Key' section
- Candidates will be redirected to a new PDF file, click the download icon
- Save for future use

KPPGCA does not release the KMAT answer key. This year, the KMAT exam was conducted on September 7, 2025, and the KMAT Karnataka answer key is generally released a few days after the completion of the exam, if released.

KMAT is a Home Based Online Remote Proctored Test comprising 120 MCQs. These MCQs are spread and divided ino four sections of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Quantitative Ability; Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. The test is to be completed in 120 minutes without any sectional time limit. The candidate is allowed to switch from one section to other within the overall time limit.

Candidates who cleared KMAT, can apply for KMAT Counselling by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the participating institute
Step 2: Click on 'New Registration'
Step 3: Fill in the Application number/ Roll Number
Step 4: Cross check the several details that are prefilled from the KMAT form, including personal and academic details in the registration form.

The KMAT counselling is conducted in online as well as offline mode. Candidates who have qualified for KMAT exam must register themselves online through the official website. However, the Personal Interview WAT/GD and document verification round under the counselling process is held offline at the designated helpline centres.
